Mirador del Calvario

Descripción

Located at the top of Mount Calvary, it was the penitential station corresponding to the ancient Via Crucis. For this reason, it was established as the point to which the brotherhoods make their penitence station during Holy Week, a tradition that continues today.

In this place it emphasizes the humilladero of the Calvary, crowned by a beautiful iron cross, dated chronologically in the second half of the XVII century or beginnings of the XVIII century.

The Calvario viewpoint is a very visited place because of its strategic location on the cornice of the Alcores and the immense panoramic view it offers of the plain, its surroundings and the town itself.
