Casimiro Calvo-Zapata Viewpoint

Not verified.

The naming of this viewpoint is due to a popular request of the neighbors of the Barriada del Calvario, endorsed by a municipal plenary. It was labeled in December 2003. This place pays homage to Don Casimiro, a priest who served in El Viso del Alcor from 1962 to 1970 and left a pleasant memory in many humble families, to whom he provided land in this neighborhood to build their houses. (Next to Jerusalem Square)

This viewpoint has a privileged panoramic view, highlighting above all the exceptional view of the Tablada, archaeological site located at the southern end of the town, with 174 meters high in the geodesic vertex that crowns its name, occupying a plateau that is located south of the town and the current fairgrounds.
