At the age of 12 he won the prize of the Seville Provincial Federation of Flamenco Entities. Subsequently, he performed at festivals throughout Spain with figures such as Camarón or Fosforito, in 1984 he recorded a program for Spanish Television on the occasion of the International Year of the Child and from the age of 20 he performed in tablaos such as Casa Patas (Madrid) or El Cordobés (Barcelona). .

 

He participated in the Inauguration of the Barcelona Olympics (1992) by the hand of the bailaora Cristina Hoyos, with whose company he toured Europe, America and Asia. Then she performed with the Compañía Andaluza de Danza and, since that year, she has performed at the best festivals such as the Bienal de Arte Flamenco de Sevilla or the one in Cannes, and teaches singing courses at universities in Spain, France, Mexico and Finland.

Between 1996 and 1998, the cantaor worked with the company of the bailaora Eva Yerbabuena, hired as a cante teacher by the Cristina Heeren Foundation, as a figure in the Mario Maya Company and in demand to perform alongside a large cast of figures such as Juana Amaya , Israel Galván or Sara Baras.

 

In 2002 and still to date, Segundo begins an extensive activity in the Ministry of Culture of the Junta de Andalucía. He directed the Andalusian Center for Documentation of Flamenco, in 2004 he explored music such as Indian or Peruvian, together with the dancer Fali Reina he founded the Fali Reina & Segundo Falcón Flamenco Art Studio (2008), he is a member of the Flamenco Advisory Council, Chief of Area and Adviser of the Andalusian Institute of Flamenco, among other functions.

 

To date, Segundo has taken part in 17 productions, won numerous awards at festivals of flamenco clubs, and awards such as the Best New Flamenco Album Today for “Un Segundo de cante” and the Giraldillo for Best Male Performer and Best Show for “Tierra from no one”.
