Calvary Cross Viewpoint

Not verified.

Located at the top of Mount Calvary, it was the penitential station corresponding to the ancient Via Crucis. For this reason, it was established as the point to which the brotherhoods make their penitential procession during Holy Week, a tradition that continues today. (Located on Calvario Street)

In this place stands out the humilladero of the calvary, crowned by a beautiful iron cross, chronologically dated in the second half of the XVII century or at the beginning of the XVIII century.

The Calvario viewpoint is a very visited place due to its strategic location on the cornice of the Alcores and the immense panoramic view it offers of the plain, its surroundings and the town itself.
