El Viso del Alcor has commercial areas ready for your enjoyment, concentrated along Calle Rosario, Calle Corredera and Avenida República Nicaragua and many others dotted along the surrounding streets.
In addition, El Viso del Alcor has since 2021 with the restored Santa Marta Food Market, a space that combines modernity and tradition, and where you can buy the freshest products, take some churros with chocolate, try a homemade tapas and finish with a drink. A space of gastronomy and leisure that will not leave you indifferent.
Founded in 1907, the Viso market is called Santa Marta. Since the 1990s it has undergone numerous renovations. The last of these has caused it to reopen its doors at the end of August 2021. With it they have provided the place with a new entrance, new roof and air conditioning, the lobby has been regrouped with new services and rooms creating a kind of porches in the stalls, the false ceiling has been removed and it has been raised. In addition, obstacles and limitations of the common space have been eliminated, accessibility has been improved and an elevator has been added on Calle Real.
At present, the Visueño square has 22 stalls and 13 businesses ranging from the traditional churrería and pastry shop, to breweries, a grocery store and a sushi store. It has a common area full of high tables for on-site consumption of its products as a gastronomic market.
